Get Insightful Information - Golf Items for Promoting Your Business

It may be a little late in the year for most of the corporate golf events, but if you are wondering what to give your customers for Christmas, then the range of promotional golf gifts can still be looked at, and with a surprising after effect.

Is Christmas the wrong time of year to be giving out promotional golf gifts? Not really. By the time your customers have received the gift at Christmas, we’re mid way through the bad weather. OK, worse weather can still be to come, but the gifts will be put away somewhere safely for when the weather improves. They are likely to be stored away in a pocket of a golf bag or on a shelf of golfing equipment as soon as they are received and not looked at for some time.

In the spring, or early summer for the really tentative golfers amongst us, we might be deciding to venture out onto the golf courses once more. It’s at that time that we pull out, maybe even after having forgotten that they existed, the golf gifts that we were given many months ago.

Well printed with your company’s logo, it’s a reminder not only of who gave them the wonderful gift that was so good they kept it safely hidden away for a few months, but also possibly that you actually exist.

This means that using the golf gift produces a double whammy effect. First the person has received the gift around Christmas and been thankful for it. Second, a few months later they have pulled it out of their golf bag and again remembered you and been forced to think of you.

This is what can make promotional golf items at the quiet time of year so effective. You are bringing your company’s logo to the customers mind twice from one gift, potentially months apart. This is a fantastic piece of marketing, it’s a reminder several weeks later about you, your gift and your company and it’s what makes the campaign so strong. What other type of campaign can spring up months later and immediately grab your customer’s attention, without costing you a penny more?

Why should you want to remind them later in the year? Well, isn’t that what promotional items are all about? It’s a thank you and showing them you care when they receive them, but also a reminder later into the year of where they have bought your services from. If they are not ready to be buying from you at Christmas, then there’s a chance that once Spring arrives and they see your products they could be ready to buy again then, if not then maybe soon afterwards whilst you are still on their mind.

Don’t be put off from buying promotional golf gifts just because the weather isn’t really suitable at the moment. Golfers will keep them safe and use them in the future. And that makes for fantastic marketing!
