Afrinest Engineering is a BEE company which started its operations in 2005 focusing on the research and development of a new G-Turbine for electricity generation using new technologies. The company then diversified into precision engineering that include CNC-Turning, Conventional Turning, Milling, Welding and Fabrication. The company also works in the areas of Technical Investigations, drawings and Prototype designing particularly in the Research and Development of new technologies for production of Clean Energy.

The company has state of the art machines that include CNC Lathe and Conventional Lathe and Milling with Digital Read Out to enhance quality on very tight tolerances. The workshop floor area is in excess of 1800m2 and the workshop is equipped with three 5 tonne overhead cranes for easy handling of large and heavy work-pieces. The company has a team of dedicated, highly skilled staff which has a strategy that places a lot of emphasis on sustained quality and continuous improvement of their manufacturing processes. The management team at Afrinest Engineering has been involved in the design, fabrication and marketing of Engineering products for many years.

This is being achieved by adhering to laid down rules and regulations pertaining to the documentation as well as implementation of Quality systems and procedures. Of importance to customers is the complain email that we are setting which will be independent. Complaints will be investigated by an independent body without our knowledge. This shows that we are prepared to excel in quality at any given time.
